Weather-resistant steel pipe contains a certain amount of alloying elements, such as adding P, Cu, Cr, Ni, Mo, ... to the steel under temperature conditions by forming a self-protected oxide film on the base metal can enhance its corrosion resistance .

Weathering steel mark:
-Standard number (EN 10025-5);
-Mark S (structural steel);
-Identification of minimum yield strength with thickness ≤16mm, expressed in MPa;
-Quality identification of relevant impact energy values;
-The letter W indicates that the steel is resistant to atmospheric corrosion;
-If necessary, the letter P indicates a high phosphorus content grade (only applicable to grade S355);
-Mark "+ N or + AR"
Example: Atmospheric corrosion (W) structural steel (S) uses the lowest yield strength at room temperature of 355MPa1), uses the lowest impact energy of 27J at 0 ºC (J0), normalized rolling (or rolling) for Goods: Steel EN 10025-5-S355J0W + N (or + AR)
Weatherability steel weldability
If filler metals without atmospheric corrosion resistance are used, the weld itself should be weather-resistant.
Before welding, the formed surface layer should be removed to a distance of 10 mm to 20 mm from the edge of the joint.
When welding steel grades S355J0WP and S355J2WP use a high phosphorus content, special precautions should be taken
