Process parameters

Material properties
Cr12MoV steel is a carbon-molybdenum steel. The carbon content of Cr12 steel is much lower, and the addition of molybdenum and vanadium elements has significantly improved the hot workability, impact toughness and carbide distribution of the steel. The steel has good wear resistance, hardenability, hardenability, toughness, thermal stability, compressive strength, as well as micro-deformation, excellent comprehensive table performance and wide adaptability. The softening temperature is 520 ºC. The cross-section can be fully hardened below 4mm, the wear resistance of this steel is 3 to 4 times lower than that of the steel, and the quenching volume is deformed. Hardening depth: 200 ~ 300mm for oil quenching.

During the crystallization process, eutectic network carbides are formed (in which the fraction of carbides is about 20% and the eutectic temperature is about 1150 ° C). These carbides are very hard and brittle. Although the carbides are broken to a certain degree after being rolled, the carbides are distributed in the shape of strips, blocks, blocks, and piles along the rolling direction, and the degree of segregation increases with the diameter of the steel.
