Material description
AL-6XN is a typical 6-molybdenum (6.3% high molybdenum content) super austenitic stainless steel. The resistance to chloride pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion is better than that of three series stainless steel, and the cost is lower than that of corrosion resistant nickel base alloy.
It shows good corrosion resistance in various serious corrosion environments and is suitable for high chloride aqueous solutions and chloride corrosion environments. Used in various high chloride environments: bleaching agents (sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide), halogens and chemicals with high salt or seawater content.
Typical working condition
60% sulphuric acid, below 80 C, annual corrosion rate < 0.1mm
application area
Offshore platform, nuclear industry, pharmaceutical, papermaking and food industry equipment; flue gas desulfurization pipeline lining; petrochemical distillation tower; high pressure water heater; thin-wall condensation pipeline cooled by sea water; steam surface condenser and multi-functional heating furnace for household use, etc.
